RSI (overbought/oversold)

Used to identify potential reversal points in the market by calculating price momentum.

Possible values:
  • Overbought = RSI ≥70
  • Regular = 30 - 50
  • Oversold = RSI ≤ 30

RSI (value groups)

Used to identify potential reversal points in the market by calculating price momentum.

Possible values:
  • < 20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, 60-70, 70-80, > 80

Golden/Death cross -

Compares the 50 period moving average with the 200 period moving average.

Possible values:
  • Golden cross = previous 50 period < 200 period and 50 period > 200 period
  • Bullish = not Golden cross and 50 period > 200 period
  • Death cross = previous 50 period > 200 period and 50 period < 200 period
  • Bearish = not Death cross and 50 period < 200 period
EMA (12) -

Compares the 12 period exponential moving average with the candle close.

Possible values:
  • Bullish cross = previous 12 period > close and 12 period < close
  • Bullish = not Bullish cross and 12 period < close
  • Bearish cross = previous 12 period < close and 12 period > close
  • Bearish = not Bearish cross and 12 period > close
Hammer stick -

A candle formation that signals a reversal.

Possible values:
  • Bullish hammer = if close > high and close - open ≤ 2 * open - low
  • Bearish hammer = if open > close and open - close ≤ 2 * close - low
  • None = all other candles
ADX -

Measures the strength of a trend.

Possible values:
  • Weak trend = < 25
  • Strong trend = 25-50
  • Very strong trend = 50-75
  • Extremely strong trend = ≥ 75
MACD -

Follows the momentum of a trend by showing the relationship between 12 and 26 period moving averages.

Possible values:
  • Bullish cross = previous 12 period < previous 9 period signal and 12 period > 9 period signal
  • Bullish = not Bullish cross and 12 period > 9 period signal
  • Bearish cross = previous 12 period > previous 9 period signal and 12 period < 9 period signal
  • Bearish = not Bearish cross and 12 period < 9 period signal
ATR -

Identifies price range volatility of a ticker.

Possible values:
  • Range 1 = close > ema and close < ema + atr
  • Range 2 = close > ema + atr and close < ema + atr*2
  • Range 3 = close > ema + atr2 and close < ema + atr3
  • Range > 3 = close > ema + atr*3
  • Range -1 = close < ema and close > ema - atr
  • Range -2 = close < ema - atr and close > ema - atr*2
  • Range -3 = close < ema - atr2 and close > ema - atr3
  • Range < -3 = close < ema - atr*3
CCI -

Looks for cyclical trends in the market by comparing the current price to the historic price.

Possible values:
  • < -200, -100 to -200, 0 to -100, 0 to 100, 100 to 200, > 200
